Jaime Netzer is a fiction writer, marketer and journalist living in sunny Austin, Texas. In 2012-2013, she lived and wrote and knocked pecans out of the trees in her front yard in tiny Smithville, Texas as the L.D. and LaVerne Harrell Clark Writer-in-Residence. Jaime earned her MFA from Texas State University in San Marcos, where she was a scholarship recipient and nonfiction editor for the literary journal Front Porch. Now an assistant editor at American Short Fiction, her stories have appeared in Black Warrior Review, Parcel and Twelve Stories; her journalism has appeared all over, including (most recently) Variety, USA Today Special Publications, Cowboys and Indians, and Austin Monthly.
